How We Review

Last updated June 18, 2026

ParentWell is an independent publisher of reviews, buying guides, and first-person parent stories about children's nutrition, growth, sleep, and healthy development. This page explains how we research what we publish, how we make money, and the standards we hold ourselves to. If you ever think we have fallen short of them, please tell us.

What we publish

Our content falls into three categories, and we label each one clearly:

How we verify facts

Before we publish, we check product facts, ingredients, certifications, dosing, and pricing against the manufacturer's official sources at the time of writing. Because prices, offers, formulations, and guarantee terms change frequently, we encourage every reader to confirm the current details on the official product page before purchasing. If a figure cannot be verified, we either leave it out or describe it as the manufacturer's own stated claim.

The line we hold on health claims

Many products we cover are dietary supplements marketed for children. We hold a strict line on what can and cannot be said:

This honesty is not a disclaimer we bury at the bottom. It is the editorial position of the publication.

How we make money

ParentWell is reader-supported and funded primarily through affiliate commissions. Some of our articles contain affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We also publish sponsored content from time to time, which is always labeled as Advertisement.

Being affiliate-funded means our standards have to be higher, not lower. A commission never changes our assessment of a product, and we will say when something has real drawbacks.

Medical disclaimer

ParentWell is not a medical provider, and nothing on this site is medical advice. The content is for general information only. Always consult your pediatrician or a qualified healthcare professional before starting any supplement or making changes to your child's diet, especially if your child takes medication or has a health condition.

Corrections

We want to be accurate. If you spot something that is wrong or out of date, email us at hello@parentwell.health and we will review it and correct the record where needed.
